Clubs and Organizations

Vienna's oldest garden club, founded in 1929. The clubs goal is to stimulate gardening in the community and beautify the city of Vienna. Many civic gardening projects are sponsored and initiated by the group.

The club meets the 1st and 3rd Thursday or each week at the Patrick Henry Library, 7-9 pm. Everyone is encouraged to come.

Wednesday and Thursday 3-6pm, Friday 3-10pm, Saturday 7-11:30pm and Sunday Noon to 4pm.

A club for men and women. Participates in activities that benefit the community and supports education.

A service organization helping the library with furnishings and equipment, as well as planning programs of interest to the Vienna Community.

the Girls Group is a free program for high school girls in the area. The group meets once a month. It is a venue for them to discuss issues such as dating, college,health and beauty. We have classes in cooking, seminars, and trips. The group meets at Club Phoenix.Mimi Weisberg, LCSW is the facilitator.

Groups maintains Freeman Store in Vienna, and other historic sites around Vienna. Education about the area's heritage. Co-sponsor of events such as the Walk on the Hill each April.

A fraternal family organization with a lodge open to members seven days a week. Sponsors charitable causes, donates to local groups. New members need a sponsor.

Meetings monthly with discussions covering current issues.

A noncommercial organization dedicated to welcoming newcomers to the community. Monthly luncheons every second Thursday at Marco Polo's,(except June, July & August), bus tours once a month, bridge continues though the summer and social activities.

The club hosts open houses ten times a year, where the public is welcome to come and see trains running, Admission is free. (Noon to 4 pm).

Established in 1955, the club was set up to provide services for the youth in the area. Goals include recognition of achievements,and suport to youth projects.

The Rotary Club of Vienna, Inc meets every Wednesday at the Marco Polo Restaurant, 235 Maple Ave West, Vienna, VA 22180 at 12:15 pm. The group provides an opportunity for professional networking, professional growth, and Fellowship with members of the community.

The Shepherd's Center is an interfaith, non-profit organization of older adult volunteers helping other other adults in the local community with services to help maintain independent living and enrichment programs to stimulate life-long learning. SALT is a faith based Social action advocacy network seeking to positively influence public social policy and legislation on the behalf of low income families.

The Women's Center is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to providing immediate and affordable counseling, and education for women, men, children and families. The web site provides a full schedule of classes and events offered by the center.

We are a group of ladies over 50 that just have fun and wear purple clothes and red hats.We do sorts of adventurous things and go many interesting places and visit out of way tea rooms and events.

Operates an Art Gallery at 513 W Maple Avenue in the Village Green Shopping Center and the Vienna Art Center at 115 Pleasant Street in Vienna. Monthly meeting on the second Thursday, 7:30pm March through December and 10am January and February, at the Vienna Community Center. Bringing artists and people interested in the arts together for the purpose of enriching the comminity by developing and promoting local art and its related activities.

The Vienna Community Band exemplifies an American musical tradition. In years past, many small towns boasted of their own bands, which were composed of local citizens. Dyer Gunnell Post 180 is a fraternal organization of veterans who have served during war time.
